Editing & mentoring

I offer private editing and mentoring services for the following:

• Freelance journalism coaching. For over six years, I worked as a full-time freelance journalist (print & radio) for U.S. publications such as National Public Radio (NPR), The Washington Post, The Atlantic and Teen Vogue. I have filed from Texas, Spain, Italy, Russia, Senegal, Argentina, and many other countries. I’m happy to work with you at any stage of your freelance career: whether it’s coming up with a working plan, providing mentorship for international reporting for U.S. publications (what kind of stories sell and are of interest to U.S. audiences) or editing your pitches.

• Copy editing. I offer editing services for all kinds of texts (blogs, newsletters, academic, corporate, bilingual writing). I’m particularly focused on English-language texts by non-native speakers.

• Audio script editing. I have 10+ years of audio experience, both in shorter radio features and longer podcast episodes. I offer editing services for audio projects, particularly focused on English-language texts by non-native speakers.

• Podcast translations. I offer Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish translations for podcast episodes, radio documentaries and/or radio features.

• Transcriptions. I offer transcription services in both English and Spanish for interviews, podcasts, oral history projects, or any other need.
